the old weeping cherry tree…

Day-to-day pics and words by nob… My dear beautiful lovely days passing with pretended nonchalance… Everything is a once-in-a-lifetime chance… The river current never stops flowing, and its water keeps changing… The blowing wind will never be able to come back to the present same place…

after really long time…

after a long time…

the huge fish swimming in the sky…

in the sky…

the mountain was full of pampas grass…

the indication of the coming autumn…

the sunset walk regreting the passing of flowers…

suddenly it started…

It keeps itself alone and courageous above all surroundings…

after the long time…

at such the most dangerous place…

by the railroad…

watching out for surroundings cautiously…

in the prime of life…

a youth…

don’t trample on me…

brothers…

a new role of the stump…

It is Japanese tradition to visit a shrine on New Year’s Eve to purify one’s mind and soul before beginning a new year. On New Year’s Day, one will visit the shrine once again praying for a peaceful and healthy year, and this act is called Hatsu-Mode (literally translated as, the First Worship).
Natsu means summertime in Japanese so Natsu-Mode is the Summertime Worship. With half a year gone by, one will visit the Shrine again at the end of June to cleanse their sins they have accumulated through the first half of the year, and make another visit in the beginning of July to pray for peace and health for the second half of the year.
